Everyone who visits us asks about the popular tv series, Downton Abbey. We are so lucky to live in a part of England that is very close to so many amazing sites: London, Stonehenge, Windsor Castle, Oxford, and even the home and filming location of Downton Abbey, Highclere Castle. It is just about a 30 minute drive south of our house and a fabulous place to visit. However, due to filming, it is only open to the public a few months out of the year. Luckily for Becky, it was open while she was here. So we dragged the family, (her family) out for a day of fun!
