Since it was such a beautiful, sunny day, we decided to drive over to Stonehenge today with Mormor and Grandpa. It is about a 40 minute drive from our house. I am always surprised by the location of Stonehenge. As you drive along, truly out in the middle of nowhere, you come around a corner, almost up over a rise and there it is, out there in the fields, right next to a road. I always thought it would be a place with lots of trees and secluded. Even though the location is not spectacular, Stonehenge is. Colby laughs at me when I agree with many others, that there is a cool feeling at Stonehenge.... maybe it is from all the wind that is always blowing.
