Messing in boats

Shane, Kaylee, and sweet baby Kysa came for a visit. We did so many fun things while they were here and the weather was fabulous!

Last Saturday we went to the Olympic track and field trials in Eugene. We had a great time, very relaxing and saw some amazing athletes. The kids especially love watching the steeplechase and highjump.

Colby was finally in town for the Fourth of July!! We headed over to a neighborhood party for a little bike parade and picnic. Very fun!

Watermelon Eating Contest..........

........ and the winner is Annika. Our sweet little princess won this crazy contest. She beat two 6th grade boys who have held the record as the winners for the past couple of years. They were mortified that a six year old GIRL could beat them. That's our girl!!

Nothing better...

So we have been swimming every day for almost two weeks now -- we love, loVE, LOVE the swimming pool. When we first got our pool last summer, I have to admit that I was not very excited. The twins couldn't swim and I was a nervous wreck. But within one week, all the kids could swim so well and it made the summer so great!! Now I am am not sure that I can live without one.
