Our Dancing Princess

Annika LOVES to dance. I think my earliest memory of her dancing was at the grocery store when she was about six months old. Any time there was music playing, she was, and still is, moving. She is such a beautiful girl and here are some pictures to show off her latest dance recital.

So I have had a few comments and questions about "Hotel Laura" or the "Manwaring Bed & Breakfast". Just to set the record straight, we LOVE visitors. It makes us feel like someone likes us, even if they are just using us for our swimming pool. So, when making reservations, please call ahead so we are not overbooked, but do visit -- we would love to see you.

Summer

Summer has finally arrived. I say this because it hasn't rained in two days and today's temperature is suppose to be above 75 degrees. I still have to heat the pool, but hopefully not for long. The kids are still not quite used to being home all day long, but are getting along amazingly well -- happy kids = happy mommy!

Colby's mom and dad, Louise and Russ, both retired this year from many years of dedicated service to others. It was so much fun to celebrate with them and visit with family!!

Disneyland

We surprised the kids with their first trip to Disneyland. They were so excited and had such a great time! The weather wasn't great, but that made the lines short -- YEA!!! We had such a great time.

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad was definitely the favorite ride. Tanner, Annika & Arik are convinced that it goes faster at night!
